Innocence Lost I remember losing my soul once, long ago. The realization was a terrifying experience. I became black. Black was me, it was my cloths and my state of mind. One night in my blackest hour I looked into a mirror and saw the essence of my childhood, my innocence, my six year-old self, walk away from me. The little smiling sprite that was me walked away hand in hand with the devil himself, or how I view him. He had a beautiful smile that would light up his face and crinkle his eyes. Kitten Dark fear streaked through her body. The dark figure loomed behind her, casting it's shadow on her path. Dread stirred in her heart. Slowly, she turned. A gasp escaped her pink lips and a nervous giggle followed. "Come here you little sweetling." She beckoned, to the kitten that had frightend her. The small black and white kitten mewed and walked into her outstretched hands. The kitten smiled like the chesire cat in Alice in Wonderland. A large toothy smile.
